A THOUSAND CRANES
CLASSIC
PLEA FOR PEACE. A Thousand Cranes is the true story of Sadako and
the Thousand Paper Cranes and her inspiring plea for peace. Told in
simple but powerful terms, this play has a profound effect on
audiences of all ages. Over decades, it has become a children's
theatre classic, performed by schools and theatres around the world. "A
local touring troupe for children won top honors at the Kentucky
Theatre Association Community Theatre Festival. Actors for Children
Theatre of Flatwoods, KY was selected as KTA's 2013 "Outstanding
Production" for its performance of A Thousand Cranes."

HEART TAKES FLIGHT! ArtReach's AMELIA
EARHART
is an award-winning one act play for young audiences. It tells
the story of Amelia's life and disappearance, while presenting
American history of the time in a fast-paced drama that lasts less
than an hour. "We had a HUGE win with Amelia Earhart at our
theatre competition! We won All-Star Cast, Best Set, Best Technical
Production, Best Ensemble, Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress!

OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
FRIGHTS
AND DELIGHTS! The LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, Washington Irving's
spooky Halloween classic, is presented with all the thrills, chills
and laughs that keep young audiences on the edge of their seats. The
storybook tale revolves around the bumbling, awkward school teacher,
Ichabod Crane, the coquettish Katrina and Ichabod's brutish rival,
Brom Bones. As much fun as the play is, we save the best for last
— the spooky Halloween ride of the Headless Horseman. "We
did ArtReach's 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' last fall - it was
truly amazing. Everyone said it was our best show ever. Thank you!"
